Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas hosted the 7th annual LEAP Expo in Paris on April 8th.  The event, for area 8th grade students, aims to help them connect their high school endorsement decision to area employers, careers, and post-secondary training program.  This year's event included 7 school districts and more than 750 students.  Thirty six area employers and post-secondary training programs participated in the event.  Students were able to visit with employers in all four endorsement areas, including STEM, Business and Industry, Public Services, and Arts and Humanities.  Many booths included hands-on activities for the students, such as CPR mannequins, 3-d printers, 

crime scene investigation, and virtual reality headsets.  A special thank you to our event sponsor, RPM Staffing Professionals!!
