Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas hosted the Learning Endorsements and Professions (LEAP) Expo for 8th grade students in Sulphur Springs on October 28.  This event aims to help 8th grade students explore career interests as they prepare to make an endorsement decision for high school.  Area employers and programs from Paris Junior College participated in the event to give students a glimpse of career options in Northeast Texas.  Students were able to ask questions and learn from local professionals.  More than 30 employers and training programs participated in the event. Three local schools and more than 400 students were in attendance.  We would like to thank our event sponsors, the Sulphur Springs/Hopkins County EDC, RPM Staffing, and Pilgrim's.
