The State of Texas is broken up into 28 workforce board areas. The Texas Workforce Commission oversees workforce board areas and maintains oversight on the boards and the programs statewide and provides funding and guidance. Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas is responsible for implementing those programs locally in accordance with state and federal requirements.
